Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sr. Software Tester with a strong background in Department of Defense (DoD) software testing. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes, and will be adept at ensuring that software meets rigorous quality standards and complies with DoD requirements. This role involves leading testing efforts, collaborating with development teams, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our testing practices. This is a 3 month contract to hire.

Responsibilities:

    • Test Planning and Execution:

    • Coordinate and perform end-to-end testing, including integration, system, regression, and acceptance testing.

    • Prepare and maintain documentation required for DoD certification and accreditation.
    • Conduct security and compliance testing in accordance with DoD guidelines.
    • Defect Management:
    • Identify, document, and track software defects using defect management tools.
    • Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and resolve defects.
    • Conduct root cause analysis and verify defect fixes.
    • Test Automation:
    • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate testing tools and frameworks.
