We are looking for a Storage Engineer with cloud modernization experience to join our team.

Duties

Configuration, maintenance and administration of a secure VMware environment.
Configuration, maintenance and administration of a secure data protection environment using various backup technologies.
Troubleshooting and resolution of issues in the environment.
Provide guidance on performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning for servers and applications.
Provide comprehensive monitoring and alerting configurations with ability to view environment state via operational dashboards.
Plan and execute the migration of on-premises storage solutions to cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Design and implement cloud storage architectures that support data protection, disaster recovery, and high availability.

Requirements

8+ years of IT experience is required.
Must have a TS SCI w/ poly secret clearance.
Computing Environment certification (CE).
IAT/IAM Level II certification is required.
Experience with VMware vSphere &IP based storage technologies.
Expertise in one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their storage services (e.g., S3, EBS, Azure Blob Storage).

$155,000 - $170,000 a year
