Looking for an experienced Aerospace Engineer with a solid background in Structural Analysis and Materials Design and Testing. Ideal candidates will come form the aerospace industry and ideally have at least 8 years of solid engineering experience with Material (Composites) and Structural Analysis of finite materials.

This position does require the ability to obtain or already posses a Secret Clearance , due to the rules and regulations of the US Govt candidates must be able to provide proof of US Citizenship.

This is a Direct Hire role, relocation package can be available for the right candidate

This position requires to be fully On-Site

Day to Day

    • Structural Analysis: Perform detailed structural analysis of composite materials and finite element models to evaluate their performance under various conditions. Utilize advanced simulation tools and techniques to predict the behavior of composite structures.
    • Material Testing: Design and conduct comprehensive tests on composite materials, including mechanical and thermal testing, to assess their properties and performance. Analyze test results to validate material models and ensure compliance with aerospace standards.
    • Flight Testing: Coordinate and execute flight test programs to validate the performance and safety of composite components. Collaborate with test pilots and flight test engineers to analyze test data and interpret results.
    • Flight Simulation: Develop and apply flight simulation models to assess the performance of composite materials and structures in simulated flight conditions. Ensure simulations accurately represent real-world scenarios to support design and testing processes.
    • Design Support: Provide engineering support for the design and development of composite structures, including the evaluation of design requirements, material selection, and optimization of composite layups.

Qualifications

    • BS/MS in Engineering (PhD in Engineering would be great)
    • At least 8 years of Aerospace Engineering experience
    • Profeicent with AutoCAD , SolidWorks or CATIA
    • Ideally 5+ years of experience in structural analysis and finite element modeling
    • Prefer candidates who have Composite Design experience specifically for Aerospace
    • Experience with mechanical and structural testing with flight tests/flight simulations
    • Active or ability to obtain a US Govt Secret security clearance
