Position Summary: 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bridge Structural Design Engineer II to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to contribute to the development and maintenance of infrastructure. This role requires technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects. This position offers hybrid flexibility after initial period.

Responsibilities:

    • Bridge Design and Analysis:
    • Develop detailed structural designs for bridges, including calculations, plans, and specifications.
    • Perform structural analysis and load rating calculations for new and existing bridge structures.
    • Utilize design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, or similar) to create and review engineering drawings and models.
    • Bridge Inspection and Assessment:
    • Conduct field inspections of bridges to assess their condition, identify defects, and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
    • Prepare detailed inspection reports, including documentation of findings, photographs, and recommended actions.
    • Ensure compliance with state and federal inspection standards and guidelines.
    • Project Management:
    • Assist in the planning and management of bridge design and inspection projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
    • Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays that arise.
    • Collaboration and Communication:
