About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and results-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution center, directly impacting customer satisfaction and business growth.
What You'll Do
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and distribution centre, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping orders.
Manage inventory levels to optimise stock availability while minimising waste and costs.
Implement and monitor warehouse KPIs to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
Coordinate all inbound and outbound transport to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to optimise supply chain processes and improve overall efficiency.
What You'll Need
Proven experience in warehouse and distribution centre management.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems and inventory control software.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to lead and motivate a team.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
3+ years experience in managing a warehouse and distribution centre
Experience in the fast-paced e-commerce industry.
Knowledge of the South African grocery market.
