Required Clearance: TS with SCI Eligibility – can start with SECRET clearance

Description
Exeter is looking for a Help Desk Technician to work at Guantanamo Bay Base in Cuba. This is an opportunity to start your career in enterprise IT through the means of connecting and enhancing the systems that matter most to the warfighter customer. A successful candidate will monitor and control electronic computer and peripheral electronic data processing equipment to process business, scientific, engineering, and other data according to operating instructions. This contract provides housing for hires, medical insurance paid for by the contract and work is considered overseas, so may be tax free. You will have to consult your accountant as to how it applies to you
Responsibilities
· Providing touch labor support for customers with some first call resolution
· Excel at excellent customer service and quick resolution of technical issues for customer
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues using Microsoft Windows, desktop applications, collaboration tools, shared drives, email, and other technologies
· Document and track customer incidents and requests via ticketing management system (ServiceNow) by updating troubleshooting and resolution efforts and efficiently escalating tickets to appropriate teams when applicable
· Acting as a resource to answer user questions about hardware and software issues
· Possess and apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments
· May enter commands at a computer terminal and set controls on computer and peripheral devices
· Apply skillset to a multitude of peripheral devices as you troubleshoot issues
· Gathers data for creation of user accounts and guides new users through mandatory training
Required Qualifications

· 1+ Years directly supporting Help Desk operations
