Job Title: Tax Manager

Position Overview
The Tax Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's tax reporting and compliance within the United States and globally. The role includes the development and implementation of tax strategies, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, and the management of the tax department. The Tax Manager will work closely with other departments, senior management, and external consultants to optimize the company’s tax position.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Compliance and Reporting
Ensure timely and accurate filing of federal, state, local, and international tax returns.
Manage the preparation and review of quarterly and annual tax provisions.
Oversee the preparation of tax filings, including income, sales, and property taxes.
Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Tax Planning and Strategy
Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
Advise senior management on the tax implications of corporate strategies and transactions.
Identify and pursue opportunities for tax credits and incentives.
Provide guidance on transfer pricing policies and documentation.
Audit and Risk Management
Manage and coordinate tax audits and investigations by various tax authorities.
Maintain relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.
Implement and oversee internal controls related to tax processes.

Team Leadership and Development
