Position Title: Technical Business Consultant
Job Description:
Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Consultant with programming experience to join our dynamic team. As a Technical Business Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technical solutions and business needs. Your primary responsibility will be to understand our clients' business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and design and implement technical solutions to address those needs. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and requirements. Translate business needs into technical solutions and recommend appropriate strategies and technologies.
Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design comprehensive technical solutions that align with clients' business goals. Develop detailed specifications, architectures, and implementation plans.
Programming and Development: Utilize your programming skills to develop custom software solutions, integrations, and automation scripts as needed. Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript is essential.
Technical Implementation: Lead the implementation of technical solutions, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints. Provide guidance and support to development teams during the execution phase.
System Integration: Integrate new solutions with existing systems and third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability. Troubleshoot integration issues and propose effective resolutions.
Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive documentation including technical specifications, user guides, and training materials. Conduct training sessions for clients and internal stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of new technologies.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in technical consulting. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience (1-5 years) working as a Technical Business Consultant or similar role, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
Strong programming skills with proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript. Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and web development frameworks is a plus.
Solid understanding of business processes, project management methodologies, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
