Description
PingWind is seeking a Salesforce Architect to support our Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Solutions Delivery Center of Excellence (COE) contract work. The Salesforce Architect must design, develop, and articulate solutions based on strategic business and technical requirements. The Salesforce Architect will work with program managers, technical leads, and clients to ensure appropriate Salesforce solutions. The candidate must have hands-on and progressive experience in performing customizations, configurations and integration of the Salesforce platform.
The ideal candidate will have a good foundation of Salesforce and demonstrate a willingness to learn new offerings and overcome technical challenges in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will provide design, and implementation expertise to a cross-functional software development team and be capable of leading a technical team. Should have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to effectively share knowledge with team members.

Responsibilities
鈥eet with stakeholders to understand requirements, determine design and perform gap analysis
鈥rchitect, configure and customize Salesforce application/solution as per business requirements
鈥emonstrate knowledge and expertise in implementing large scale enterprise solutions including integration and data migrations
鈥apable architecting and estimating new projects and presenting solutions and recommendations to stakeholders in collaboration with program leadership
鈥lear understanding of integrating Salesforce application/solution using Mulesoft
鈥ollow best practices and continuous improvement process
鈥emonstrate breadth of knowledge including CRM Analytics and MuleSoft
鈥ead a team of Salesforce developers and multiple projects
鈥efine all aspects of software development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
鈥onduct architecture, code, and design reviews to support development teams and clients
鈥ommunicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to development team
鈥versee progress of development team to ensure consistency with product design concepts, best practices, and standards
鈥rovide technical guidance and coaching to Developers and QA Engineers
鈥nsure software documentation is completed to meet all requirements for delivery
Educational and Experience Requirements
鈥achelor鈥檚 Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering from an accredited college or university; Additional experience would be considered in lieu of degree
鈥t least ten (10) years of related experience; Twelve (12) years preferred
鈥t least five (6) years of Salesforce experience
鈥xcellent verbal and written communication to technical audiences, non-technical audiences, and senior management
鈥olution Architect experience on implementation projects using Agile approaches
鈥ederal Salesforce implementation experience preferred
鈥xcellent understanding of Salesforce architecture, declarative capabilities, platform configuration and related limits and how they influence design
鈥xperience integrating with 3rd party solutions using industry standard techniques like REST and experience in using integration tools like MuleSoft
鈥upervisory experience in leading Salesforce developers
鈥alesforce Certified Application Architect, Technical Architect, or System Architect required
Additional Requirements
鈥ust be a US Citizen
鈥ust be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
