Summary

Responsibilities

Conduct electrical tests on prototypes, production units, and systems to verify performance, safety, and compliance with specifications.
Set up and configure test equipment for military equipment, including circuit card assemblies, simple wiring, and components.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, including identifying faulty components and suggesting corrective actions.
Document test results, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings to engineering and production teams.
Perform calibration and maintenance on test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and refine test procedures and methodologies.
Assist in the design and development of test fixtures and setups.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during testing processes.

Requirements

3+ years of experience testing electrical equipment is required.
Associates degree or higher in electronics engineering is required.
Certification in electronic engineering technology is required.
2+ years of experience in installing and servicing electronic military equipment is required.
IPC 610 and 620 standards are required.
