Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Warehouse Manager with 2-5 years of experience to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in warehouse management, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for improving processes and leading teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
Ensure efficient use of space and resources for storage.
Implement and optimize warehouse processes and procedures.
Staff Supervision:
Assist in recruiting, training, and managing warehouse staff.
Schedule and assign tasks to ensure smooth workflow.
Monitor staff performance and provide regular feedback and evaluations.
Inventory Control:
Maintain accurate inventory records.
Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.
Manage stock levels to avoid shortages or excesses.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure the warehouse complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Implement safety procedures and conduct regular safety training for staff.
Maintain and enforce security procedures to protect warehouse assets.
Logistics Coordination:
Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and customers to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods.
Optimize logistics to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Handle any logistical issues or discrepancies.
Equipment and Facility Management:
Oversee maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment and machinery.
Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and performance metrics.
Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelors degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a related role.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations.
