The Senior Designer will be responsible for leading the creation and execution of visually compelling designs that align with Wattpad’s brand and strategic goals. They will work with creative briefs and brand guidelines to produce digital and print-ready design files that enhance Wattpad’s platform, advertising, social media, and more. This role involves overseeing design projects from concept to completion, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and iterating on designs based on Stakeholder and Creative Team feedback to continuously improve standards. The Senior Designer will develop original concepts for campaigns, source and utilize stock images, stay current with digital trends, and integrate new ideas into designs and brainstorming sessions.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong visual design and creative skills, a deep understanding of creative problem-solving approaches, and the ability to work within and extend existing brand systems. They will mentor new designers through active feedback and peer reviews to uphold quality, consistency, and brand adherence.
This role requires effective management of deadlines and priorities while maintaining high standards of work. The Senior Designer will develop and document scalable, repeatable, and shareable marketing design processes.
