Summary

Responsibilities

Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of financial systems and software.
Collaborate with IT and external vendors to ensure system integrity, data accuracy, and efficiency.
Supervise and support the accounting team in daily operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal policies.
Generate and analyze financial reports, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to internal stakeholders.
Develop and monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial systems and reporting capabilities.
Manage system upgrades, modifications, and integrations with other business applications.
Lead and manage financial system-related projects, including system migrations and upgrades.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and integration.
Provide training and support to accounting staff on financial systems and best practices.
Serve as the primary point of contact for financial system issues and troubleshooting.
Ensure financial systems and processes adhere to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Prepare for and support external audits and reviews.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and financial systems management.
Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and Management Reporter.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in financial systems, including system implementation and troubleshooting.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
Familiarity with data integration tools and business intelligence software is a plus.

Benefits

$110,000 - $120,000 salary range based on market average.
