Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Manufacturing Program Manager to support the planning, execution, and completion of manufacturing projects. This role involves assisting in the coordination of resources, scheduling, and tracking project progress to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in manufacturing or project management, and proficiency in project management tools. Experience with Deltek Costpoint, Cobra, or MS Project is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination: Assist the Manufacturing Program Manager in the planning and execution of manufacturing projects from initiation to completion.
Resource Management: Help manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure project efficiency and effectiveness.
Scheduling and Timeline Management: Support the development and maintenance of project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
Quality Assurance: Assist in monitoring project quality and compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and project plans.
Communication: Facilitate effective communication between project stakeholders, including team members, suppliers, and clients.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
Budget Management: Help track project budgets, expenses, and financial performance, ensuring projects remain within budget.
Continuous Improvement: Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project performance and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience: 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, project management, or a related field.
Project Management Tools: Experience with Deltek Costpoint, Cobra, or MS Project is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify problems and develop practical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality standards.
Experience with ERP Systems: Knowledge of enterprise resource planning systems in a manufacturing environment.
Work Environment:
Physical Requirements: Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
Work Schedule: Full-time position with occasional overtime based on project needs.
$100,000 - $180,001 a year
