The Role

As the Associate Director of Finance and FP&A Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy and planning for our company. You will oversee the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions, providing strategic insights to support decision-making and drive business growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with a passion for SaaS and a track record of success in fast-paced environments.

Some key responsibilities of the role -

    • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
    • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including long-range planning.
    • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
    • Analyse financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
    • Monitor financial performance against budget, identifying variances and providing actionable recommendations.

    • Performance Metrics & Reporting:
    • Establish and track key SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, etc.)
    • Create insightful financial reports and dashboards for executive leadership and board
    • Analyse variances between actual and planned results, providing actionable insights.
    • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the executive team and Board of Directors.
    • Lead efforts to improve financial processes, systems, and controls to support the company's growth.

    •  Business Partnering:
    • Partner with business leaders to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.
    • Assist in developing business cases for new products, markets, or strategic initiatives
    • Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to evaluate different options
    • Conduct ROI analysis for new projects and investments

    • Team Leadership:
    • Build and manage a high-performing finance team
    • Mentor and develop team members to support their professional growth
    • Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the finance function

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
