The Role

As the Associate Director of Finance and FP&A Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy and planning for our company. You will oversee the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions, providing strategic insights to support decision-making and drive business growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with a passion for SaaS and a track record of success in fast-paced environments.

Some key responsibilities of the role -

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including long-range planning.
Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
Analyse financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
Monitor financial performance against budget, identifying variances and providing actionable recommendations.

Performance Metrics & Reporting:
Establish and track key SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, etc.)
Create insightful financial reports and dashboards for executive leadership and board
Analyse variances between actual and planned results, providing actionable insights.
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the executive team and Board of Directors.
Lead efforts to improve financial processes, systems, and controls to support the company's growth.

Business Partnering:
Partner with business leaders to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.
Assist in developing business cases for new products, markets, or strategic initiatives
Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to evaluate different options
Conduct ROI analysis for new projects and investments

Team Leadership:
Build and manage a high-performing finance team
Mentor and develop team members to support their professional growth
Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the finance function

Some key requirements of the role -

Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; experience with Zoho / Quickbooks / SAP / Netsuite is a plus.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
