Business Analyst- GovCon Experience (Hybrid)

Job Summary: 

The Business Analyst will support the organization’s goals by leveraging their expertise in government contracting, SQL, and data warehousing. This role involves analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing data-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with government contracts, and proficiency in SQL and data warehousing. This position has 2-3 days of remote flexibility.

Responsibilities:

• Government Contracting Analysis:
• Analyze and interpret government contracts to ensure compliance with regulations and organizational policies.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on contract analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Collaborate with contract management and legal teams to address any issues or discrepancies.
• Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Utilize SQL to query and analyze data from various sources to support business operations.
• Develop and maintain data warehousing solutions to consolidate and manage large volumes of data.
• Create detailed reports and dashboards to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
• Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Business Process Improvement:
• Conduct business process analysis to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
• Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Document business processes, workflows, and system requirements.
• Project Management:
• Manage projects related to data analysis, reporting, and business process improvements.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project alignment with business objectives.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management.
