Duties

Completing development of topographic surveys and utility mapping of topographic features including survey data, vicinity map, existing utilities, wetland and forested areas.
Prepares various AutoCAD drawings to include multiple views, details, and assembly drawings.
Drawings may include complex design features that require drafting skills to visualize and portray.
Follows specific layout and engineering diagrams to create and revise drawings; may troubleshoot and correct simple malfunctions on drawing designs.
Extracts and complies a variety of engineering data from field notes, manuals, and reports; processes data following well-defined methods, identifying errors or inconsistencies; recommends and assists in design improvements, selects methods of data presentation.
Assists in design modifications by compiling data related to design, specifications, and materials which are pertinent to specific equipment or component parts. Uses judgment and initiative to recognize inconsistencies or gaps in data and seeks sources to clarify information; may travel to facility sites to perform field resear4ch, review, revise, and create drawings to reflect as-built or future conditions.

Requirements

7+ years of relevant experience.
Experience using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and/or MicroStation drafting software.
Valid license is required to be able to drive a company care.

$65,000 - $85,000 a year
