The HR Business Partner (HRBP) works closely with the company's managers to develop HR agenda that will support the overall goals of the company. He/she coordinates with the management to put in place the policies and practices of the employees of the company that are aligned to the operational needs of the business.
Note: Project-based role
What does a day in the life of an HR Business Partner look like?
Administers behavioral interviews on all supervisory and managerial internal candidates and partners with the hiring manager on final hiring, transfer, and promotion decisions.
Facilitates and documents skip-level meetings, FGD, coffee sessions, HR Huddles, and NHO within Cluster
Conduct employee new hire orientation/training to foster a positive attitude towards organizational objectives
Conducts exit interview of resigning employee and prepare a monthly summary report of the same for the information and basis of action of management including RAG Tagging
Review disciplinary action of cases to erring employees.
Prepares the Monthly Suspension/Termination/Separation Report for submission to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
Proactively supports the delivery of HR Processes
Actively identifies gaps, proposes, and implements changes necessary to cover risks
Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management
Designs succession plans for key talents and key job positions
Builds a strong business relationship within Cluster
Acts as a single point of contact for the employees and managers in the business unit and cluster.
Perform other duties as assigned
What are the required qualifications of an HR Business Partner?
Must have at least 1 year experience as an HR Practitioner β HR Specialist, HR Generalist or HR Officer
Holds a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or any related field or equivalent knowledge and understanding.
Exposure to Human Resources Management, Hiring, Developing Standards
Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate with employees and suppliers at all levels.
Knowledgeable in any HRIS
Knowledgeable in MS and Google Office.
