Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement: Interact with customers to understand their HVAC needs and provide appropriate solutions. Assist customers in selecting the right products and services to meet their requirements.
Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of HVAC products, services, and industry trends. Stay updated on the latest technologies and advancements in the HVAC field.
Sales Process: Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to closing the sale. Provide detailed product information, prepare quotes, and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and vendors. Provide excellent customer service and address any inquiries or concerns promptly.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential customers and new sales opportunities. Stay informed about competitor activities and market trends.
Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets and goals. Track and report on sales performance and progress towards targets.
Promotions and Events: Participate in promotional activities, trade shows, and events to showcase HVAC products and services. Assist in organizing and executing marketing campaigns.
Technical Support: Provide technical support and advice to customers regarding HVAC systems and products. Assist with troubleshooting and resolving customer issues.
Training: Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge and sales skills. Stay informed about new products and industry developments.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions. Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business, Sales, HVAC Technology, or a related field is a plus.
1+ years of experience in HVAC sales or a related field.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems and products.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency with sales and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
HVAC certification or technical training is a plus.
