PingWind is seeking an intermediate-level Information Technology (IT) Support Specialist to act as the Workstation Administrator supporting the United States Army Fort Campbell Soldier for Life Transition Assistance Program (SFLTAP) functions at Fort Campbell, KY. The SFLTAP Mission Statement is to deliver a world-class transition program that ensures all eligible transitioning Soldiers have the education, training and counseling, necessary to be career – ready in the global workforce e. SFLTAP helps Soldiers make informed career decisions through benefits counseling and employment assistance.
The Workstation Administrator provides support such as planning, analysis, development, testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, implementation, integration, maintenance, and/or management of networked systems used for the transmission of information in voice, data, and /or video formats. This is a hands-on position that requires the IT Support Specialist to work very closely with government personnel and users.
 
Responsibilities
 
· Check equipment for proper operation and clean and perform minor maintenance on equipment when necessary
· Participate in meetings with COR and contractor representatives to obtain information and provide information as deemed necessary
· Participate in accomplishing technical, analytical and advisory functions pertinent to the development of local policies, plans, and processes;
· Ensure work accomplished complies with higher authority policies and guidelines
· Ensure the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles and practices in accomplishing the customer support functions of this job
· Provide Information Technology customer support to end-users for desktop or laptop computers and printers, servers, applications, network connectivity and associated hardware, software and networking services
· Develop plans for installing, configuring, troubleshooting and maintaining customer equipment and software and install and configure standard hardware and supported software on desktops/laptops and configure laptops/desktops systems
· Provide assistance to customers, troubleshoots all problems, and provides support to the customer with minimal disruption to normal business activities. First responder and chief point of contact for all submitted IT work orders.
· Reports weekly workload reports and work order status to the contracting officer representative
· Provide Tier I, II support to end-users for laptop and desktop computer, server, common user applications, desktop services, and associated hardware
· Serve as the Workstation Administrator (WA) for the SFL-TAP Information Technology Systems
 
Qualifications
 
· US Citizen
· Three years of IT experience handling the same type of duties as listed above
· IAT II Certification (Normally Security+)
· Must have excellent written and verbal skills
· Must have excellent customer service skills
Desired Qualifications:
· Microsoft Certifications
· Audio Visual Projector Experience
