As a Junior Superintendent for construction projects at a federal facility, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful execution of construction projects while ensuring compliance with federal regulations and quality standards. This position offers an opportunity for growth and development within the construction management field, under the guidance of senior project management personnel.

Responsibilities

Project Coordination: Assist senior project management in coordinating construction activities, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met within budget and schedule constraints.
Quality Assurance: Monitor construction work to ensure compliance with contract documents, federal regulations, and quality standards.
Safety Oversight: Collaborate with the Safety Manager to enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.
Schedule Management: Support the development and maintenance of project schedules, track progress, and identify potential delays or issues.
Subcontractor Management: Assist in managing subcontractor relationships, including reviewing scopes of work, monitoring performance, and resolving issues as they arise.
Site Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, site photos, and as-built drawings.
Client Communication: Facilitate regular communication with federal facility representatives and stakeholders, providing project updates and addressing concerns promptly.
Change Management: Assist in evaluating and managing change orders, ensuring proper documentation and approval processes are followed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
