Responsibilities:
Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, contracts, and reports. Ensure all documents are accurate and up-to-date.
Communication: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Provide regular updates on project status and address any issues or concerns.
Site Management: Assist in managing construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to project plans and quality standards.
Budgeting and Cost Control: Help manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control measures are in place. Identify and address any financial discrepancies or potential cost overruns.
Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with various teams to ensure timely completion of tasks. Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed to keep projects on track.
Quality Assurance: Assist in implementing quality control and quality assurance processes to ensure that all construction work meets the required standards and specifications.
Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve project-related issues and conflicts promptly. Provide support in developing and implementing solutions to overcome obstacles and ensure project success.
Vendor and Subcontractor Management: Assist in managing relationships with vendors and subcontractors. Coordinate deliveries, monitor performance, and ensure contractual obligations are met.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and practices. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in construction project management or a related role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and responsibilities.
