About the job

Pre-sales Solutions Architects are the primary technical contact for our clients' prospects and partners during the first phases of their projects. They engage with technical contacts and C-level in order to build Scaleway Architecture and resolves real migration challenges.

For the new and growing Partners program, together with Partner Account Manager, PSA Partner will need to help structure and industrialize the partner relationship.

We need individuals who can develop positive relationships with our partners, understand their requirements and work to bring cloud solutions that enable their success.

Reporting to the Head of Solutions Architect, your primary responsibilities will be to increase customer acquisition through partner enablement and technical control: make sure our partners are skilled enough to deliver Scaleway proposition.

You will help answer our clients' questions and deliver solutions along with the Partner Sales discovery process.


Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
    • 3+ years of experience as a Technical Sales Engineer or Cloud Solutions Architect in a Cloud environment or equivalent working experience with customers in a B2B company
    • Good knowledge of Hyperscaler product offerings
    • Experience in Cloud development, migrations, container orchestration or applications/servers.
    • Knowledge in one of the following: Infrastructure as Code, Linux system administrators, application development, Datacenter components.
    • Fluent in French & English

Responsibilities

    • Serve as the technical liaison, collaborate with partner account manager, sales, marketing and services teams to create customized presentations, demos and proof of concepts
    • Conduct partner training, validate their certifications, and ensure they are technically knowledgeable
    • Participate in in the Partners sales process, handle and resolve technical questions and challenges encountered by clients during the first phases of their projects
    • Engage on regular basis with the Partner community to present updates and keep the relationship active
    • Learn new things from the field and share it to improve our products, solutions and sales process
    • Elevate the story so that PAMs and you can pitch effectively to C-level executives and technical teams
    • Seek to understand the Cloud markets; Deep dive technically in Scaleway and learn from competitors; Share your knowledge with other Solution Architects and your Sales team
