Description
PingWind is seeking a Program Manager who will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects within the government sector. This role involves coordinating with multiple stakeholders, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and managing project resources to meet contractual obligations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in program management, a strong understanding of government contracting processes, and a technical background in IT.
Responsibilities
Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:
路 Eight years of Program Management experience on Information Technology (IT) contracts providing software development for SharePoint and .NET environments and system administration for Microsoft SQL.
路 Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for IT programs.
路 Strong understanding of government contracting processes and regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS).
路 Proven experience managing large-scale, complex IT projects from inception to completion.
路 Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
路 Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
路 Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
路 Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
路 Serve as the primary point of contact for government clients and stakeholders.
路 Facilitate regular meetings and communication with stakeholders to provide updates on project status, risks, and issues.
路 Ensure that technical solutions meet project requirements and government standards.
路 Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for project success.
路 Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management and government stakeholders.
