Position Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to lead and oversee federal health and science projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex federal projects, excellent project management skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with diverse teams to ensure successful project delivery. This is a 6 month contract to hire, Public Trust preferred.

    • Project Planning and Initiation:
    • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
    • Obtain necessary approvals and ensure compliance with federal regulations and requirements.
    • Project Execution and Management:
    • Oversee all phases of federal health and science project development, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
    • Manage project teams, including scientists, engineers, contractors, and consultants.
    • Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and quality standards.
    • Implement and maintain project management best practices, tools, and methodologies.
    • Stakeholder Communication and Coordination:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for federal clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
    • Facilitate regular project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders on project status, milestones, and any issues or changes.
    • Address and resolve project-related issues, conflicts, and discrepancies promptly.
    • Budget and Resource Management:
    • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and controlling costs.
