Responsibilities

Provide desktop support for Windows operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Respond to and resolve technical issues reported by end-users through various communication channels (phone, email, ticketing system).
Perform software and hardware installations, upgrades, and maintenance on desktops and laptops.
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including LAN, WAN, and VPN problems.
Assist with the setup and configuration of network devices such as routers, switches, and access points.
Maintain accurate documentation of support requests, resolutions, and network configurations.
Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure smooth operation of the company's IT infrastructure.
Conduct regular system maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
Provide technical support for peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
Participate in on-call support rotation and after-hours support as needed.

Requirements

Solid understanding of Windows operating systems.
Knowledge of network infrastructure.

Job Summary:

The Senior Desktop & Network Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, maintaining and troubleshooting Windows desktop environments, and assisting with network support tasks. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Windows operating systems, network infrastructure, and excellent problem-solving skills. This is a 6 month contract to hire.

Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pm
