Sr. Network Field Technician (Secret Cleared)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Field Technician with hands-on experience in network installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will also have experience in performing requirements analysis to ensure that network installations meet the specific needs of each project. This role involves traveling to client sites to install, configure, and support network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site installation, configuration, and maintenance of network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and cabling.
• Conduct network requirement analysis by working with clients and internal teams to understand project goals and network performance needs.
• Design and implement network solutions based on project requirements, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, both remotely and on-site, to minimize downtime and ensure continuous connectivity.
• Test network installations for performance, reliability, and security, and make necessary adjustments to meet project specifications.
• Perform regular network maintenance and updates, including firmware upgrades and security patches.
• Create and maintain accurate documentation of network installations, configurations, and client requirements.
• Provide technical support and training to clients on network usage and best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure timely and successful network deployments.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in networking to enhance service offerings and improve efficiency.
