System Administrator

Overview: 

We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator with over 3 years of experience in managing Windows environments. The ideal candidate will also have some exposure to Mac/Apple systems, which would be an added advantage. This role requires a hands-on professional who can manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Responsibilities:

• System Management:
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and workstations.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and user permissions.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary upgrades and patches.
• Ensure data security, system backups, and disaster recovery protocols.
• Network Administration:
• Manage and configure network components including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
• Support and Troubleshooting:
• Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Respond to and resolve IT service desk tickets in a timely manner.
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Mac/Apple Support (Bonus):
• Assist in the management and support of Mac/Apple systems if required.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support for Mac users.
• Ensure compatibility and integration between Windows and Mac systems.
• Project Management:
• Participate in IT projects and initiatives, contributing technical expertise and support.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement new technologies.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
