  • Assist with client projects, including system migrations and cloud deployments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or in a similar technical role.
  • Proven experience with Windows server environments, Active Directory, Azure, and Office 365.
  • Experience with client-facing roles and providing on-site support.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Windows server administration and cloud services.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.

The Systems Engineer will be responsible for delivering exceptional IT support and solutions to our clients. This role includes both remote and on-site responsibilities, requiring travel to customer locations using a company-provided van. You will work with various technologies, including Windows servers, Active Directory, Azure, and Office 365, to ensure optimal performance and reliability of our clients' IT systems.

Responsibilities

    • Client Support: Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients, addressing and resolving issues related to Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Azure, and Office 365.
    • System Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including Windows servers, Active Directory domains, Azure services, and Office 365 applications.
    • Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues. Perform routine maintenance, updates, and upgrades to ensure systems are secure and functioning optimally.
    • Customer Site Visits: Travel to client sites using a company van to deliver hands-on support, implement solutions, and address technical challenges. Maintain a professional demeanor and represent the company positively.
    • Infrastructure Management: Assist with the design, deployment, and management of IT infrastructure, including server setups, network configurations, and cloud solutions.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all support activities, configurations, and changes. Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions for future reference.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, support staff, and management to coordinate efforts and share knowledge. Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving service delivery.
    • Project Support: Assist with client projects, including system migrations, cloud deployments, and IT upgrades. Provide technical input and support throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Training & Guidance: Offer training and guidance to clients on best practices for IT system use and maintenance. Educate clients on new technologies and updates relevant to their environments.
