Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or in a similar technical role.
Proven experience with Windows server environments, Active Directory, Azure, and Office 365.
Experience with client-facing roles and providing on-site support.
Strong technical knowledge of Windows server administration and cloud services.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.

The Systems Engineer will be responsible for delivering exceptional IT support and solutions to our clients. This role includes both remote and on-site responsibilities, requiring travel to customer locations using a company-provided van. You will work with various technologies, including Windows servers, Active Directory, Azure, and Office 365, to ensure optimal performance and reliability of our clients' IT systems.

Responsibilities

Client Support: Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients, addressing and resolving issues related to Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Azure, and Office 365.
System Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including Windows servers, Active Directory domains, Azure services, and Office 365 applications.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues. Perform routine maintenance, updates, and upgrades to ensure systems are secure and functioning optimally.
Customer Site Visits: Travel to client sites using a company van to deliver hands-on support, implement solutions, and address technical challenges. Maintain a professional demeanor and represent the company positively.
Infrastructure Management: Assist with the design, deployment, and management of IT infrastructure, including server setups, network configurations, and cloud solutions.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all support activities, configurations, and changes. Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions for future reference.
Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, support staff, and management to coordinate efforts and share knowledge. Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving service delivery.
Project Support: Assist with client projects, including system migrations, cloud deployments, and IT upgrades. Provide technical input and support throughout the project lifecycle.
