As a Team Lead, Business Development, you will assist with the progression and growth of the Business Development Representative (BDR) team and help them further their sales careers. You will be a primary point of contact for effective outbound lead generation practices within the sales organization. Reporting directly to the Senior Business Development Manager, you will oversee a team of select Business Development Representatives as a Team Lead.

As our Team Lead, Business Development, you will:

    • Advise and direct all stages of the sales process and recommend industry best practices.
    • Provide assistance in creating a pipeline and generating high-quality sales opportunities.
    • Assist with the hiring, training, and development of the BDR team.
    • Coordinate with management on enablement needs within the sales team.
    • Manage the day-to-day activities of your BDR team to achieve revenue targets.
    • Create and oversee effective sales sequences.
    • Oversee and monitor key KPI’s of select BDR’s and provide accurate analysis on individual results.
    • Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership on lead generation strategy.
    • Conduct weekly one-on-ones providing feedback and support to individual team members.

What you'll need to be successful as a Team Lead, Business Development:

    • Experience within a quota carrying role.
    • At least 12 months experience with cold outreach.
    • Strong leadership abilities to guide and motivate the team towards success.
    • Excellent organization and communication skills.
    • Demonstrate a strong level of drive, enthusiasm, and energy in a dynamic working environment.
    • A proven track record of metrics-proven success
    • An understanding of best sales practices within B2B outbound sales.
    • Experience with software tools for lead generation and sales management.
