The Position

Field Autoverification Consultant - Remote

The Opportunity:

The Field Autoverification Consultant position optimizes a customer’s clinical laboratory goals, with a specialization in autoverification. This position’s primary responsibilities are to provide consulting services to customers and facilitate the implementation, training, and use of autoverification. While a majority of the work can be performed remotely, this position requires approximately 33% travel, including overnight travel, to customers located across the US. Candidates should reside no more than 50 miles from a major metropolitan US airport.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering and Documentation:

  • Gather and document customer requirements for autoverification.

Design and Implementation:

  • Consult with customers and key stakeholders to design and implement highly complex autoverification, maximizing the RDC solution for the customer.

Project Leadership and Integration:

  • Provide integration project leadership, including defining project scope, acceptance criteria, timelines, and approval.

  • Set appropriate installation expectations, monitor project statuses, and ensure collaboration between customers, Roche, and vendors. Maintain internal tracking systems for services and customer follow-up.

Validation and Support:

  • Perform validation processes for applicable IT solutions to evaluate their effectiveness.

  • Provide routine follow-up support to ensure customers fully adopt IT product features and are satisfied with their IT connectivity solution and optimization.

Collaboration, Feedback, and Training:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities and lead solutions.

  • Provide feedback to the organization (e.g., Global, Marketing, stakeholders) on potential product enhancements and customer requirements.

  • Develop and implement training materials and installation guides for supported IT products. Additionally, create consulting tools and service offerings and provide support during mock go-live and actual go-live

Who You Are:

You are a mid-career IT professional who has advanced proficiency with autoverification related to COBAS Infinity. You are comfortable working independently with minimal guidance. Due to your deep expertise in autoverification, you seek to act as a resource to colleagues with less experience and provide functional guidance. You truly seek to serve in a consultative role with our customers in person as well as remotely, depending on business needs.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Medical Technology, Life Sciences OR 3 years of experience in Healthcare IT, general IT or product line experience

 AND

  • 2+ years of Healthcare IT experience

AND

  • 5+ years of interfacing experience including proven interfacing skills in protocols such as HL7 & FHIR

Preferred Qualifications:

  •  2+ years of Laboratory Experience and 1+ years of Lab Management and/or Supervisory experience 

  • Advanced knowledge of the integration of laboratory information systems, analytical instrumentation and automation systems.

  • Understands rule algorithms or Boolean Logic.

  • Working knowledge and experience with Roche Middleware product cobas Infinity

  • Highly effective communication skills between technical and non-technical groups.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis is $92,100- $171, 100.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
