Senior Accountant (Future Hybrid Flexibility)

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in our finance department by overseeing general accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions and records. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent analytical skills. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, and assisting with audits. This position has hybrid flexibility after three months.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts.
• General Ledger:
• Oversee general ledger operations, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable:
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Monitor and resolve discrepancies in accounts.
• Compliance and Audits:
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
• Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and standards.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with department heads to prepare forecasts and variance analysis.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with other members of the finance team to ensure cohesive operations.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as needed.
